Blackburn Diocesan Board of Education are excited to be seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, passionate and experienced youth work specialist to deliver on a key project in their Youth Strategy for the next year (July 2022 to July 2023 – or until the postholder returns) covering the maternity leave of the current post holder. We are looking for a committed Christian with a lively faith who has youth work experience and the confidence to lead and advise others. As pandemic restrictions have lifted we have seen a huge uplift in churches wanting to explore what youth work could look like and seeking support in see these dreams becoming a reality. The desire to see all churches ‘Inspiring Children and Young People’ is central to the diocesan vision and this role is vital to in parishes being equipped and confidence instilled for leading youth ministry in their local context.
