Meadgate Church is a thriving, friendly church in the middle of the community of Meadgate in Great Baddow. it is part of the Church of England great Baddow Team Ministry. It is a deeply engaged Church combining social action and gospel outreach, operating a seven day a week church building providing a range of services and activities for people of all ages. There is a current staff team of ten employed people and an array of volunteers from both church and neighbourhood who serve in many and varied ways. True to our origins, Meadgate Church invests heavily in children and youth activities having begun life in 1963 as a Sunday School for the children of the newly built Meadgate Estate. However, our commitment to strengthening the whole of our community means that activities and groups for people of all ages are just as important. At the heart of our activities is a vibrant worshipping congregation with ages from 0-90 who delight in being together and give themselves to prayer and praise, and biblical witness.
