Theydon Bois Baptist Church is a family church based in the village of Theydon Bois, Epping on the outskirts of London at the end of the Central Line. We have a requirement for a Youth Pastor which is a new post to start ASAP.
We have a growing children's and youth ministry and are passionate about reaching out to young people in our local community and schools. We want to develop our current primary school age youth work and to build and extent the work into new areas, particularly focusing on secondary school youth and sixth formers. We want to create a safe place for young people to feel accepted, loved and supported.
We are looking for someone who has not only experience, but more importantly a real passion for serving the young people. You will be able to work well with a good team of volunteers and bring a creative and pioneering approach to our youth ministry which we see as integral to the church. With the ability to think big when it comes to youth events, and with a keen awareness towards the needs of individuals and provide on going pastoral support.

This is a full-time role, although part-time applicants will be considered.
