Warlingham lies within Surrey and is on the border with South Croydon, some 14 miles from the centre of London.
We are a friendly and growing church in the heart of the community with a passion for sharing the Good News of Jesus to the young people of our neighbourhood.
We have focussed on Youth Work for the last 15 years and have seen this work grow and flourish during this time. We currently have up to 80 children and young people involved in our busy weekly activities, with up to 20 attending Sunday worship and 60 attending two weekly outreach youth Clubs / Cell Groups.
As well as Youth Church on a Sunday morning, we run weekly Youth Clubs for school years 6-8 and 9 plus. We also run / participate in other events during the year including Ignite Worship nights, Holiday Clubs and residential Camps.
We are looking for a dynamic, passionate and enthusiastic person to lead and develop our Youth Ministry. There is also an option for the right candidate to also lead the Young Adults ministry. We are looking for a committed Christian who has the energy and enthusiasm to engage with and inspire our young people, with the joy and grace of knowing Jesus in their lives.

The job is based at the church and you will be part of a committed and enthusiastic leadership and volunteer team who will support and encourage you in this role and in your future development.
Working as part of the Youth and Children’s Ministry, you will be responsible for leading and developing the existing successful Youth Ministry.
There is the option to also launch initiatives and create a community for young adults - some of whom are already connected with the church.
To support to develop sustainable youth projects which meet the needs of local community.
To encourage and develop the existing volunteer team, providing mentoring and training as required.
You will initiate and oversee projects that enable young people / young adults to grow in faith and to participate in a range of opportunities that nurture debate, exchange of ideas, and seek to give them an active identity within the church family.
We are looking to appoint a full-time role (hours flexible and up to 35-37.5 hours per week, if role includes Leader of Young Adults) as Youth Worker (with option to lead Young Adults), to run and build on the existing Youth Ministry, and to work alongside our part-time Children’s and Family Worker plus existing volunteer team and Management Team, to enable this exciting and vital work to continue and grow.
Salary: up to £28,000-£30,000 p.a. (depending on experience and assuming 37.5 hours per week) plus pension.
