Our work is based in an area of high deprivation. Newton Youth Ministries is an organisation geared to engage young people to reach their fullest potential by providing a vibrant youth program within the local area.
Our aim is develop and maintain positive relationships with young people in the local community creating opportunities which allow the young people to develop their social skills, self awareness and individuality while giving them the confidence to try new experiences.
A vital part of our project in RoomSixty, a youth drop-in cafe. RoomSIxty provides a safe place for the young people to hang out with friends providing entertainment and resources. This operates three sessions per week for 11-18year olds and one session for Primary 7 children.
We are part of Newton Wallacetown Church and RoomSixty is a youth drop-in centre. Our organisation is geared to engage young people in reaching their fullest potential by providing opportunities for personal development. It aims to provide a vibrant youth development programme for young people in the local area.
