Role Purpose
The Logistics and Resources Lead is responsible for the global management of vehicles, resources and storage in all our physical locations, plus maintenance within the Cambridge Location. This is to ensure the effective, efficient and safe operation of our facilities. The post-holder will continue to innovate and explore opportunities for an enhanced service with the aim of providing a safe and friendly environment for the congregation, staff and guests. They will oversee and agree contracts and providers for services including vehicles and resource management.
Part-time: 2.5 days a week
Salary: £12,500 (£25,000 FTE)

Primary Responsibilities
Cambridge Location maintenance
- Perform maintenance of shared resources
- Research and organise contractors for large maintenance projects
Global resource management
- Oversee shared resources within and across our locations. These are resources shared by ministries.
- Creating inventories of our shared resources and their locations and developing processes to ensure resources are easily accessible and traceable
- Developing processes for ministries to be notified of deliveries
- Developing storage solutions and storage efficiency across our locations
- Ensure the safe storage of items, including consideration of fire routes across the buildings
Manual Handling training
- Undergo training to become a trainer
- Identifying the team who require manual handling training as they move heavy resources as a part of their role
- Provide the training for those team
Global Vehicle Maintenance:
- Tracking MOT dates
- Week-to-week maintenance
- Safety Checks
- Working with the Facilities administrator to manage the booking of vehicles
- Organise repairs and transport to garages
·Budgeting: Work with the facilities team to create and manage budgets for all of the above

Specific Experience:
- Previous experience working in facilities and/or health and safety roles.
- Possesses excellent IT knowledge to include Excel and Word, with CRM/database knowledge being desirable.
Church Experience: Experience working in a church setting would be beneficial.
