Job Description

About Saint Paul’s

Saint Paul’s Hammersmith is a vibrant Anglican church at the heart of London, dedicated to encountering God and awakening our city. We strive to be a white-hot centre of faith where people experience God’s presence and are empowered to live out their calling in every aspect of their lives. Our vision is to see God’s Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven, equipping our community to make a lasting impact on London.

We are committed to nurturing faith, fostering community, and being a resource for the wider city through the use of our spaces and facilities. This includes creating opportunities for connection, creativity, and compassion that bless both the church family and the neighbourhoods around us.

A key part of this vision is our work with young people. Our youth vision is centred on young people encountering God, awakening schools, and seeing a generation fully alive in Christ. Around 30–40 young people regularly engage with our youth ministry, supported by a passionate and committed core team of volunteers. We believe that investing in the next generation is vital for the renewal of the Church and the transformation of our city.

Role Purpose

The Youth Pastor will lead, nurture, and develop the youth ministry (ages 11–18) at Saint Paul’s, shaping it into a thriving and spiritually vibrant community. This role involves fostering discipleship, mentoring relationships, growing strong volunteer teams, and developing innovative outreach programmes. The Youth Pastor will build strong connections with local schools, maximise collaboration with existing initiatives and embody the vision of Saint Paul’s to empower the emerging generation in their faith and leadership.

We are open to creative possibilities in building the best possible youth ministry at Saint Paul’s. Even if this role doesn’t completely align with what you’re looking for, we would still love to hear from you.
