We have an exciting new opportunity for someone to lead our wonderfully dynamic and friendly House Team at Lee Abbey. This is a fantastic role and extremely rewarding.
We are looking for someone with previous experience in housekeeping with leadership skills. Applicants should possess excellent organisation and communication skills, be a self-starter and able to lead, inspire and encourage a team in a diverse multicultural environment.
Clear communication is vital for this role, as well as relating well to people, including those from overseas, where English is not their first language. Fostering a positive, supportive environment and maintaining a high level of morale and enthusiasm within the House Team is very important.
The role of House Team Leader is just one part of Lee Abbey community life. Community members also take an active role in the worship, creative and serving aspects of community life. Our Vision is people encountering Jesus Christ so that lives, relationships, communities, and our environment are transformed by the life of God.
The position is residential with an allowance structure including pension, accommodation, and full board. House Team Leader is a three year position.
