Scargill House is home to an international Christian community
living, working, and worshipping together in the beautiful Yorkshire
Dales. Our life is shaped by a daily rhythm of prayer, shared meals,
service, and hospitality to our guests from all walks of life.
We are looking for someone with a heart for people and a gift for
organisation to join us as Personnel (HR) Lead.

Key Responsibilities
This is a varied and people-centred role, co-ordinating all personnel
tasks as well as having some pastoral responsibilities, including:

  • Coordinating recruitment of community members; International
    Community Volunteers and Working Friends (volunteers)
  • Managing personnel admin such as, interviews, reviews &
    safeguarding; Tier 5 visa processes; organising work rotas, etc.
  • Helping provide pastoral care within community life

What’s Provided
This is a 3 year post open to those who hold a UK passport or have
the right to work in the UK. This is not a salaried position but you
will receive accommodation including all bills, a wifi connection,
meals / food, a monthly personal allowance and pension
