Children and Youth Worker

Bearfield Church is seeking a Children and Youth Worker.  The purpose of this exciting post is to develop and lead the delivery of the children and youth work of Bearfield Church in the local community.

About the Role

The Children and Youth Worker will enable the church’s mission amongst, and discipleship of children and young people, through leadership, encouragement and direct work with a variety of groups within and outside Bearfield.

About You

The successful applicant will be a committed Christian, have vision and passion, be a great communicator and a self-starter, with experience of working with young people.

What we offer

Salary:  £25,000 - £28,000 FTE (Dependent on experience)                                         

Hours: Up to 37.5 hours a week which will involve regular weekends and evenings and some school holidays (please note we are open to consider part time or semi-term time contracts).

Duration: Initial 3-year fixed term contract

Closing Date: Friday 28th November 2025

Interview date: w/c 8th December (TBC)
