HTH is vibrant and growing church in the HTB network, based in the heart of Hastings,
with significant work amongst youth and young people.
This is our vision:
“Imagine communities of people who are so passionate about being with Jesus,
becoming like Jesus, and joining in with what Jesus is doing, that lives, families, and
communities are changed and transformed, one life at a time.
Imagine a church that 15-year-olds long to be part of and to which the non-religious are
drawn breaking all their preconceptions of church. Imagine a church which raises
children and youth to be leaders now and in the future.
Imagine a church where those that are marginalised, addicted or poor in spirit find
friendship, freedom and hope. Imagine a church, strategically placed in the centre of a
town that plays its part in changing the culture of the town…”
HTH is passionate about raising up children and young people who know Jesus
personally, grow in discipleship, and are empowered to live out their faith boldly. We
long to see the next generation encounter God, step into leadership now and in the
future, seeing God at work in schools, families, and communities. We have seen
significant growth in our youth work over the last few years, with a number of youth from
un-churched backgrounds coming to faith in Jesus and bringing their friends to church.
We are now looking for a Youth Lead to take this work into its next season.
