Do you have a desire to see children and their families grow closer to God? Are you a person of both prayer and action, for sharing the good news of God’s love with children and families?
If your answers are Yes, then Cambourne Church would love to hear from you! We are a thriving, broadly evangelical church - a local ecumenical partnership of the Church of England, Baptist Union, United Reformed Church and Methodist Church. We are situated to the west of Cambridge, and we are looking for someone to develop and deliver our strategic vision for our Children & Family work.
The role is vibrant and varied where you will oversee our Children’s ministry with the whole church support, and develop and grow our children spiritually with a knowledge of Jesus Christ. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and faith-filled Children and Family Worker to build on the previous excellent work of our former employees and to take up new opportunities. In particular, following the Covid-19 pandemic we are looking for someone who can help our children and their families reconnect and engage with each other and in their relationship with God.
You can download our recruitment pack here cambournechurch.org.uk/vacancies which contains an overview of the Church, the recruitment process, and a job description for the role. The post is initially for four years.
To apply please complete the application form and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org with a full copy of your CV and a short two-minute video introducing yourself by 24th June 2021.
Interview Dates: 6th/7th July (virtual) and 13th July (in person).
