Chaplaincy Faith Delivery Support Featured
£20,000 - £24,000 yearly
Faith-based provision conducted in partnership with the Chaplaincy department. Mainly working with prisoners that either have been hard to engage or are coming to the end of their sentence for support with resettlement into the community. The work will be delivered in Chaplaincy Groups, One to One work and Occasional services. Weekly enquiry cohort - This is an enquiry cohort where residents are encouraged to think more about their faith and given space ask the big questions of life. Weekly discipleship cohort – Working with residents to go on a discipleship journey to explore different aspects of their faith e.g. prayer, healing etc. Stories of Hope service – Quarterly Stories of Hope with supporting materials/pack. Resettlement cohort (in prison and in the community) – Transition from prison is difficult and so we seek to provide support for those who want to engage with a faith community upon release.
