Kirkwall Baptist Church is one of three Baptist churches in Orkney, and the congregation is a gathered community from all areas of the Mainland and adjacent islands. The church premises lie on Victoria Street, which is part of the main street running through the town, and comprise a main auditorium with gallery, kitchen, crèche/meeting room and toilets, and an adjacent converted house used for Sunday School, Bible Class and other mid-week functions and meetings.. The main church building underwent a major refurbishment in 2019, with a completely new interior, heating, lighting, A/V equipment and sunken baptistry.
The church manse is a modern four-bedroom bungalow, located about 10 minutes walk from the church, town centre and schools.
