Carey is a warm family friendly socially and ethnically diverse church in the centre of Preston with 34 members and 50 attending on Sundays.

We hold a traditional Evangelical theology, and as enabled by the Holy Spirit, focus on the Bible as the Word of God, and Prayer, as the foundations of our faith.

We run a prayer meeting and Bible study, a youth group, craft afternoons, and a high quality Day Care Nursery.

The Prayer meeting/Bible Study is online on alternate Monday nights. Our large buildings are used by secular groups.

Our Worship style is contemporary but retains some of the older hymns.

We are members of the Baptist Union of Great Britain and the Evangelical Alliance and we support BWM, Tearfund and local charities.
