Bible-Centred Ministries International UK (BCM UK): Organisational Overview
Bible-Centred Ministries International UK (BCM UK) is a Christian charity dedicated to meeting the spiritual needs of children and young people through Bible teaching, discipleship, and mentorship. Established in the UK in 1947, BCM UK partners with local churches to mobilise, train, and support those working with the next generation—empowering them to teach the Bible so children and young people may come to know, love, and obey God.
Our Core Activities:
- Running children’s Bible clubs and discipleship groups
- Organising residential and holiday Bible camps
- Providing practical, Bible-based training for those working with children in church and school settings
- Leading collective worship in schools
BCM UK is committed to reaching children with the good news of Jesus and equipping churches for effective children’s ministry. Our vision is shaped by the “4-14 Window”—the crucial ages between four and fourteen when most people make a lifelong faith commitment. Each year, our dedicated staff and volunteers connect with hundreds of children through regular clubs, school assemblies, holiday clubs, and camps.
Teacher Training:
A key focus is raising up children’s ministry leaders within the local church. Our flagship programme, In Step With The Master Teacher, offers practical, Bible-centred training to equip volunteers to disciple children as Jesus did—through modelling God’s truth, building relationships, and teaching for a response.
About BCM International:
Founded in the USA in 1936, BCM has grown into a global movement, now serving in over 50 countries with more than 750 missionaries worldwide. Our heart remains to reach, teach, and disciple children for Christ—wherever they are found.
