Maranatha Christian School is a warm, Christ‑centred learning community with small class sizes, a strong academic curriculum, and a deep commitment to seeing children grow in their faith, character, and understanding. We believe that parents are the primary educators of their children, and we exist to walk alongside families, strengthening, supporting, and encouraging them in that calling. This partnership with parents is woven into the life of the school and shapes how we teach, care for, and guide each individual child.
At Maranatha Christian faith is not an optional extra but the foundation of everything we do. Prayer, Scripture, worship, and a shared devotion to the Lord Jesus set the rhythm of our days and influence how we think, act, and relate to one another. We long to see children growing in courage, integrity, humility, resilience, and love. These virtues are not simply taught but modelled and nurtured within a community that seeks to honour Christ in all things.
Academically, we offer an engaging curriculum culminating in GCSEs, all rooted in our Kingdom Learning Framework. This approach helps pupils to see God’s truth, beauty, order, and wisdom in every subject. From mathematics and science to English, history, computing, and the arts. We believe that faith and scholarship belong together, and that a distinctly Christian education should be both thoughtful and academically strong. Our small classes allow teachers to know pupils well, support them closely, and stretch them to reach their full potential.
Having served families since 1991, we are grateful for the Lord’s continued provision and remain hopeful about the future. We are building on firm foundations as we nurture grounded and confident young people who understand both who they are and whose they are. Our desire is to see each child equipped not only with knowledge and skills but with a secure identity in Christ and a heart ready to serve Him in the world.
