St. Matt's is a lively, growing Church of England church situated in the High Brooms area of Tunbridge Wells in Kent. We believe God's message is vital for the world in which we live and we seek to present that message in a way that is appropriate to our community.

Our aim is to be a church that is open, warm and welcoming. We are informal and worship in a contemporary way that we hope makes sense today.

We are a community of people who want to follow Jesus and we seek to place discipleship at the heart of what we are about. Our mission statement “igniting passion for Jesus” expresses this emphasis on discipleship and what we want to be at the heart of church life. We want to grow in our love for Jesus and we want to help other people discover him for themselves.
