SCF is a medium-sized church of around 130 adults, plus children and youth, located in Shirley, Solihull.  SCF was formed in 1972 by a group of people from a range of church backgrounds who were hungry for more of God and His Holy Spirit in their lives.  Since those early beginnings, we have grown as a church, including developing our own building, The Bridge.  We are charismatic and evangelical and seek to allow God’s Holy Spirit to shape and guide what we do.  

We are an active church both in the week and at weekends.  Situated at the edge of one of Solihull’s busiest parks we see a great opportunity for evangelism and outreach with the hundreds of people who come into Shirley.  SCF is part of the worldwide Christian Church, and we adhere to mainstream Christian beliefs.  SCF is also a member of Shirley Churches Together and the UK Evangelical Alliance and is committed to their stated aims and ethos.
