Taunton Team Chaplaincy is seeking a passionate and prayerful Lead Chaplain to guide and grow this well-established Christian ministry. Taunton Team Chaplaincy serves the people, businesses, and public spaces of Taunton through a visible, caring chaplaincy presence. Our mainly lay team of nearly 40 dedicated volunteers is drawn from local churches and is based in the Market House in the town centre. Together, we offer pastoral care, a listening ear, and the hope of the gospel to employees, shoppers, and members of the public alike. We currently provide dedicated chaplaincy support to seven facets of the community – Offices and organisations, Care Homes, The Railway, the Marginalised, Open Spaces, Retailers and the Magistrates Courts.
