The Free Church of Scotland is looking for a capable Accountant to join our team of committed staff in the Central Office to help with specific projects and to support the regular financial work of the charity and denomination. The Accountant will have strong accounting skills, be experienced in financial reporting, be highly organised and self-motivated and will have a desire to manage Church finances well. We are seeking an energetic and motivated individual to drive forward and promote Kardia. The ideal candidate will be a devoted Christian, an advocate for young people and will be passionate about good mental health. The post holder will work alongside the founder of Kardia to make a difference in the lives of teenagers nationwide. Main duties To develop and expand the brand of Kardia through raising awareness of the resource, including creating a good social media presence. To sign youth workers up to our training days to equip them to deliver Kardia in their own settings. The DBC placement worker will work in partnership with Dereham Baptist Church, supporting them in their youth work, as well as taking a lead in Dereham based initiatives with Youth for Christ, including working with the local schools, and supporting the wider work of North Breckland Youth for Christ.
