Thornhill Baptist Church, Southampton is looking to expand their dynamic Ministry Team through the appointment of a Community and Pastoral Minister. Reporting to the Ministry Team Leader and working alongside the Children, Youth and Families Worker, the Community and Pastoral Minister will oversee and encourage strategic developments within our outreach work in the local community, with particular emphasis on the 18-30s age group, and also lead our pastoral care as well as taking a share of general ministerial responsibilities. We expect the role to develop in new directions as a new person settles into the position. They will be an engaging people person and a great communicator both individually and in upfront settings. We are seeking a passionate, musically gifted, spiritually mature Worship Pastor to work as part of the team of pastors at Testwood Baptist Church. We have a vibrant and well skilled team of musicians and worship leaders who serve faithfully each week. However, we are looking for someone who can be a pastor to this team and the wider church as a specialist in worship ministry. This person must have a heart for encountering God in worship and have a passion to draw people to Christ through music and other creative ways of worship.
