Cornerstone is seeking to appoint a full time Families Outreach & Discipleship Lead to lead our mission and ministry with under 18s and families. Key to this role will be the development of discipleship pathways through which children and families can explore faith and find their place in the church.   The right candidate will lead our new learning community including Youth Worker/College Chaplain and Children’s Pastor, creating a space for support and learning of best practice. The Director of Children’s Ministry is a key role within the staff team at St Stephen’s.   Currently there are 4 main strands to our children’s ministry that this person will lead and oversee:    Church based kid’s ministry and discipleship.  Community pre-school and families (led by part-time communities families pastor). School’s ministry (currently 3 local primary schools); and Parenting (building community and pastoral support).   We are looking for a committed leader with a heart for children and families to oversee and grow our 0–11 ministry.
