Oddments Theatre have a mission to share the Christian message in prisons, churches and schools through drama. We tour across the UK bringing thought-provoking and powerful productions that tell stories of faith. We are looking to fill two major leadership positions in our charity, which will take the charity forwards into a new chapter. We are also open to discussions on how these roles could be reimagined to instead create two co-director positions in the company. We are looking to appoint a Pioneer who will use contemporary music to reach people, primarily aged 18-30, in Cathays and surrounding areas of Cardiff with the message that 'God is for all'. The appointee will be musical, with a heart for sharing the love of God. In line with the Methodist Church, you will need to be an inclusive, justice-seeking Christian. The Faith through Music Pioneer will use contemporary music as a missional tool to build relationships, enable encounters with God and support people as they explore faith and grow as disciples of Jesus. They will develop and grow a volunteer Mission Team, deliver music-based events and activities, facilitate small group exploration of faith and pioneer the formation of a new Christian community.
