We are two Anglican parishes serving the village of Mountsorrel in North Leicestershire seeking to increase the work we do with young people in the local Church and community. This youth and schools’ work post will build on the foundation work achieved by our outgoing youth worker who has been with us for four years and our children and families’ worker who has been in post for eight years. You will be an integral part of our ministry team and have the opportunity to work alongside the staff and pupils of the nearby secondary school. The position of Youth and Schools’ Worker has been developed in the Benefice to help focus the mission and evangelism of our parishes in such a way as to increase the number of young people coming to faith and joining the Church.
