We’re looking for a part-time Worship Ministry Assistant to be a key part of our worship team! This is a part-time (20 hours) role paid at London Living Wage rates: £15,392 p.a. (£28,860 FTE). What the role involves: The primary role of the Worship Ministry Assistant is to facilitate and support our musical worship as a church, both in our Sunday morning services and in other contexts. You will have many opportunities both to lead worship and to support others through playing in bands, operating AV systems and in other ways. In addition, there will be opportunities to work with our Youth Pastor and Children and Families Pastor to develop and encourage sung worship in every area of church life, including through working with youth and children who are part of the worship team. An exciting role to help develop our growing work with children, young people and families.  St. Alban's serves the community of Beacon Hill and Hindhead in SW Surrey, 13 miles south of Guildford. We already have active groups for all ages and good links with local schools. We are looking for someone to build on the work of our current Worker, as they leave at the end of the summer. There is a team of willing and able volunteers with a heart for seeing children, young people and families come to know Jesus Christ. This is a part time role with a salary of £25-30K (pro-rata).
