Thornhill Baptist Church, Southampton is looking to expand their dynamic Ministry Team through the appointment of a Community and Pastoral Minister. Reporting to the Ministry Team Leader and working alongside the Children, Youth and Families Worker, the Community and Pastoral Minister will oversee and encourage strategic developments within our outreach work in the local community, with particular emphasis on the 18-30s age group, and also lead our pastoral care as well as taking a share of general ministerial responsibilities. We expect the role to develop in new directions as a new person settles into the position. They will be an engaging people person and a great communicator both individually and in upfront settings. Salary:  Stipend of £30,450 plus a housing allowance of £8,550.
