Cosham Baptist Church are seeking someone to lead the Pastoral support to the congregation of the Church and to lead the church’s ministry to the older members of the congregation. This will be a part-time (20 hours per week) paid role.  The role will be reviewed after 3 and 12 months. This post is subject to an Occupational Requirement that the post holder is a committed Christian under Part 1 of Schedule 10 of the Equality Act   2010. Hours will be flexible but core hours will be agreed to enable attendance at some fixed meetings each month, which include a leaders’ meeting and a church service and an older person’s meeting. Headley Down Community Church (HDCC) is seeking to appoint a part-time Lead Pastor, to lead the church though its next phase of development.  HDCC is the only church in Headley Down and serves a population of about 5,000 living in Headley Down itself as well as drawing church attendees from the surrounding towns and villages. The Lead Pastor we are seeking to appoint will work three days per week (24 hours per week), spread over the week (including some evening work), with key activities including the Sunday morning service.  The Lead Pastor is expected to manage their hours, to ensure at least one full day off per week; days of work may vary from week-to-week although this will require flexibility to coordinate and provide support for urgent pastoral needs.
