Mitcham Lane Baptist Church is seeking a passionate Youth and Community Worker to pioneer and develop faith-based youth work with 11–18s in Furzedown, South London. This exciting role combines outreach, discipleship and community engagement, offering the opportunity to shape vibrant, inclusive youth programmes that support young people’s emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing and help them explore the Christian faith. The role is 30 hours per week (flexible, including evenings and weekends) with a salary of £30,000–£32,500 pro rata . We are also open to considering other options for working including part time, job share and as a paid student placement for a relevant training course. We are seeking someone with a passion for leading contemporary worship and developing student ministry at Buckingham Parish Church. The primary focus of this role is to lead contemporary worship across our two congregations, with an allocation of 20 hours per week for worship and a further 10 hours per week dedicated to student ministry. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, Spirit-led pioneer who is able to uphold & work towards a vision and bring others along with them releasing their gifts for the building up of the body of Christ.
