Founded by Daniel and Jeanie Ough over twenty years ago, Sandpiper Coaching has helped hundreds of people in person - and possibly thousands more through the media - face career challenges with confidence.

Sandpiper Coaching has worked with individuals across a wide range of ages and professions - from students to executives to individuals returning to work after a career break - helping people cope with the loss of their job, build confidence, develop effective CVs and LinkedIn profiles, network effectively, prepare for interviews, and successfully navigate career change.

Alongside their professional coaching practice, Daniel and Jeanie have spent over 10 years volunteering overseas, serving churches, Christian organisations and mission agencies. These experiences have given them insight and understanding of the challenges and issues faced by individuals in a ministry setting which they draw on when Sandpiper Coaching is appointed by churches, Christian organisations, and Bible colleges to provide coaching for staff in transition.

Meet Daniel

 

Daniel Ough is a certified professional coach with more than twenty years' experience helping people navigate career change with confidence.

Before becoming a career coach, Daniel enjoyed a successful career as a Chartered Engineer. He understands first-hand the challenges of changing direction and the importance of landing a great job.

Daniel believes career coaching is more than helping someone find their next job. His approach is to equip people with the confidence, practical tools and the clear direction they need to make a successful transition to the next phase of their career.

He has coached professionals at every stage of their careers, from graduates to senior executives, and has also spent many years volunteering alongside Christian mission organisations, supporting missionary teams and Christian leaders around the world through periods of transition and change.

 

Meet Jeanie

 

Jeanie Ough, a certified professional coach, brings a wealth of professional and life experience to her coaching, having previously practised as a lawyer before moving into career coaching.

She is passionate about helping people discover clarity during seasons of uncertainty, guiding and encouraging them as they develop an effective CV to use as a marketing flyer which highlights their skills, experience and achievements and maximizes their chances of being called for an interview.

Jeanie has worked extensively with individuals navigating career change, returning to employment, responding to redundancy and seeking greater purpose in their working lives. Her coaching style combines practical guidance with compassionate encouragement, creating a supportive environment where clients can explore new possibilities and take positive steps towards the future.

Alongside her coaching work, Jeanie has served with Christian organisations internationally, helping missionary teams and ministry workers as they navigate significant life and career transitions.
