The main vision of this role is to offer leadership, guidance and support to churches in the NOW Mission and Care group concerning their ministry to and with children, youth and families. This is supporting the 8 churches in the Harrogate and Knaresborough area.  The postholder will help church communities to identify opportunities to engage with children, families and young people, as well as developing existing activities. The role also includes being part of the Yorkshire Synod WILDERNESS team to deliver a central program of work with children and young people. This is a flexible post with office space available at St Columba URC in York, Bilton Grange URC and St Paul’s URC in Harrogate and The Bridge URC in Otley. Home working will also be considered. The post holder must have the ability to travel to churches within the NOW Mission and Care Group.
