The Well Sheffield is a contemporary, multi-cultural church, in the Sheffield region.
Our desire is to see many lives transformed by the power of God. We use the Bible and Jesus’ life and example as our guide. Our heart beats with a sense of identity and security that comes from God’s love. We seek to live in God’s supernatural power and make a big difference. We act like a big family, yet we exist not just for ourselves, but also for the sake of others.
At every Sunday gathering and throughout the week, we welcome people of all ages and background who may never have been to a church, or who have been put-off/away from church for many years. All are having fresh encounters with God. We aim to equip all our folk to be disciples who raise new disciples of Jesus. This means loving and serving the city in many diverse settings and ways, often well beyond the church buildings. It is every person, everywhere, everyday.
We are a group of people journeying towards Jesus together, taking steps of faith and adventure along the way.
The Well is a Baptist church, led by Baptist minister Nick and his wife Marjorie Allan, and served by a passionate staff team, and large volunteer base. We are committed to the Yorkshire Baptist Association, and Baptists Together in England.
