The vision of Preston Minster is “to play our part in the re-evangelisation of the nation, the revitalisation of the church, and the transformation of society.

At Preston Minster we seek to achieve this vision by leading people through a simple process. This process helps people find their home, find their purpose, and transform their city.

Find your Home: Alpha & Sundays are where we invite everyone to explore finding their home in Jesus

Find your Purpose: Groups are where we join with others in finding our purpose and commit to intentional growth.

Transform your City: Teams are where we actively serve the church and transform our city in Jesus name.

We also seek to bring transformation through our church planting strategy, employing a stream of planting curates who spend 2 to 3 years at Preston Minster before planting a church in or beyond Preston. We consider it a huge success to send members of our congregation with planting curates to plant new churches.

Ministry philosophy

Upfront and central at Preston Minster is our desire to reach those who don’t know Jesus. This means we place a special emphasis on making sure our outward facing events are not only relevant to non-Christians but also comfortable for non-Christians. It is imperative that any potential team member not only understands this approach but embraces it wholeheartedly.
