St Mungo’s is a Scottish Episcopal Church with a vision to be an Infectious Centre of Spiritual Health and is based on three foundational values:
- the centrality of Christ and the cross of Christ,
- the renewing and empowering work of the Holy Spirit,
- the inspiration and authority of the Bible.
Pre-Covid 19 over 500 adults and 200 children and young people regularly attend one or more of our four Sunday services, including over 100 adults and children who form the congregation which meets in Livingston, West Lothian.
Our Sunday gatherings are complemented by various adult small groups with 70% of adults involved in either house groups, prayer cells, or both. Across both of our locations we have over 60 young people between S1 and S6, many of whom predominantly attend on a Sunday morning, with our main youth outreach taking place on a Friday night. 15 young people currently attend our Livingston location and they frequently join with Balerno youth for events that aren't possible with smaller numbers.
Our main church website is www.stmungos.org and our youth website is www.stmungosyouth.com. These provide a more detailed flavour of who we are and what we do.
