The Harnhill Centre of Christian Healing established as a registered charity, was founded in 1986 by a local clergyman, Canon Arthur Dodds, who had a passion for the Christian healing ministry. Based in a Cotswold Manor House and beautiful grounds, it is situated in the small hamlet of Harnhill about four miles from Cirencester, surrounded by open countryside.
Under the guidance of the Trustees, the staff team is led by the Centre Director and Chaplain and works alongside dedicated volunteers. In addition to the Ministry Team, we employ a Bursar, Development Officer, Catering Team, a full-time Facilities Manager and Housekeeper and part time Housekeeping Team.
The Harnhill Centre is built upon a strong community, both residential and non-residential, who are committed to ministering to those in need of healing. The Manor has 20 beds for residential guests and all the bedrooms are en-suite. Public healing services are held each week in the Barn and regular rhythm of worship and prayer in our Chapel underpin every activity throughout the week.
Through its work, the Centre supports those damaged by abuse, stress and the challenges and traumas of life, promotes training courses and pastoral care, providing a safe place for those in need, offering the healing love of Jesus Christ to all with whom we have contact.
