Riding Lights Theatre Company is a long established independent professional touring theatre company with a christian heart, based at Friargate Theatre in York.

Riding Lights is unique. No other similar theatre company has thrived for so long and reached so many people - and continues to do so. Over 44 years Riding Lights has produced more than 10,000 performances in diverse locations, taking its own unique brand of life-changing, good-news theatre to communities throughout the UK, Europe and the US.

From its earliest days, the christian focus of Riding Lights has been the hub for a wide range of theatre-related activities. That includes a strong vein of comedy and satire, to provide broad and inclusive engagement with the whole spectrum of human endeavour to tackle any subject.

With a reputation for high-quality live and filmed theatre, Riding Lights is widely respected and at the forefront of its field.
