Encounter Church Ilfracombe sits in the picturesque South West of England….with beautiful beaches and the Exmoor National Park on our doorstep…it is easy to see the Creators hand in everything, when we are surrounded by so much beauty.

We are called Encounter because we want every person who comes in to have their own personal encounter with Jesus. We are family and everyone is welcome, accepted and loved here. We are also a joyful, worshiping and prayer led church who encourage Spiritual gifts.

Our aim is to show our faith in action and we are currently involved in great joint community projects with other churches, that help and work to bless folk young and old in His name.

As part of the Ground Level team of churches across Britain we are also excited to see what God is doing not just here but across our Nation and Internationally.

Recently, we have had Words from the Lord about the ‘wave of revival’ that is coming to the South West…this has resonated with so many other churches in our area and we like them, stand ready excited and expect to be a part of this modern day revival.

We would like a Pastor who sees this vision and with the help of our active and supportive Leadership team, would develop it further to take Encounter forward into all God wants to do here and beyond.
