Townsend Church of England School is a small inclusive secondary school that has 5 forms of entry (c750 on roll), sitting on the edge of the historic Cathedral City of St Albans. The school is situated within easy reach of the M25, M1, A1 and close to fast mainline train links to London. We have a lovely 6 hectare (15 acre) site with countryside on three sides. Although this is a Church School you do not have to adhere to the Christian faith to work here but you need to be in sympathy with our work. Staff find the warmth of the welcome and the support from members of staff and the parents association creates a very supportive atmosphere.
