The Isaiah Project is a charity formed in 2008 by Hazel Copping and Southend Christian Fellowship, with the main aim to relieve poverty in the Southend on Sea area by opening doors of opportunity and hope to the vulnerable and disadvantaged in the community. We help people get back on their feet, providing ongoing support and friendship, help with benefits, training in life skills, volunteering opportunities and accommodation. We promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society, in particular enabling them to gain the life and social skills necessary to obtain and maintain independence in the community by way of education, training and support.
