St Mary’s has a clear vision to be a resource to ‘Church, Community and our City’. We have been chosen as a Resource Hub for Milton Keynes within the Oxford Diocese, along with our neighbouring parish St Frideswide’s.

We are committed to sharing the love of Jesus in all kinds of different ways, so we can reach across generations. We are Bible-based and open to God’s Holy Spirit and missional in approach. We believe that God is in the process of opening new spiritual wells (churches) and renewing old spiritual wells (churches) in our city – leading us to plant or revitalise churches 3 times over the last 6 years.

Over the pandemic God has called our church to serve our local community in practical action. We are now connecting with people in all kinds of exciting new ways. Our Community Pastor is building many teams that are leading local outreach through our Community Centre such as Saturday Surplus (a community larder), Monday Meals (particularly for families struggling with their food bills), Connections Café’, older people’s group, children’s Saturday Club and much more.

The Family Ministry Lead will hugely benefit from the family connections already being created by this work in our community.
