Chorley Community Church is a lively, outreach-focussed community church that has a longstanding
tradition of working with young people. The church is part of the North East London Gospel Mission, a charity that has been in existence for over 150 years, which was founded as a gospel mission to alleviate hardship in inner-city London. Today the church runs a food bank, drop in sessions, bible studies and an elderly people’s club. For the last few years, Chorley has also run regular kids clubs and youth clubs serving children from the local area, many of whom are from low income and/or single parent families. The church is situated in one of the densest areas of social housing estates in London.
