Assistant Pastor (Permanent, Full-Time)
New Life Christian Centre, Hamilton, Scotland
We are seeking to appoint a full-time Assistant Pastor to be a support in leading the church and to help us proclaim the gospel throughout our community.
New Life Christian Centre is an established non denominational Charismatic church located in Hamilton, Scotland that has a desire to evangelise and be a witness in the community and surrounding area. Our main goal is to make disciples by teaching the uncompromising Word of God in a way that lives are impacted and transformed.
The congregation is currently made up of mostly young families from different cultures specifically Scottish and African.
The Assistant Pastor will be strengthened by the existing leadership team. The main responsibilities will be in the areas of pastoral care, evangelism and supporting the current Pastor.
We are seeking a committed Christian who has preferably theological training and church-based ministry experience although this is preferred applications will be considered from those who have no work experience as ongoing mentoring and training will be provided by the Pastor.
Role –
The Assistant Pastor role requires flexible working hours across five days each week, with active Sunday involvement and one evening in carrying out the role of church ministry tasks and responsibilities.
The Assistant Pastor position will provide spiritual leadership, pastoral care, administrative obligations and biblical teaching to the church members.
A strong degree of integrity, accountability, transparency and ongoing evidence of Godly living, unwavering faith in Jesus Christ and full acceptance of the gospel are essential to this role.

This is a permanent position and salary will be negotiable depending on experience.
Start date: Towards end 2022 although we are flexible.
