LBC is a lively church with a warm heart for people and a passion for making the Gospel known and understandable within our local community. Based on the Hampshire coast near the New Forest national park, our fellowship has been following and proclaiming Christ here since 1688. We are evangelical, committed to the authority of the Bible in all matters of faith and conduct. Our present mission statement is “helping people to know and follow Jesus”; this is a message that we want to help people to embody in the whole of life, through prayer, teaching, discipleship and long-established outreach links into our local community.
