Centre Church Burgess Hill

Centre Church is a multi-generational community of people drawn from diverse walks of life and cultures.  United by the gospel message of Jesus and our call to follow him we value our unity in diversity, believing this to be a powerful demonstration within our community.   Here at Centre Church, each person is valued and each person is encouraged to make their contribution to the whole.

As a church in addition to valuing each person, we value worshipping together and long for a greater expression of God’s presence, power and person among us.

As a Pentecostal church, we prioritise the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

We value prayer and seeking God.

We value our local community and seek to welcome and serve it.

We value mission, both local and global and enjoy close links with other churches in Burgess Hill and especially with the International Bible Training College (IBTC).

We value team ministry, believing that God has given diverse gifts to his church which are to be used in a plural leadership.

We are an Assemblies of God church and value the network of relationships that this enables us to be a part of as well as the Pentecostal experience that this encourages.

Over the last few years the church has grown, both in numbers and in strength, under sound and confident leadership. The current oversight team comprises seven members including four trustees and two staff members: a youth pastor and a creative director. The team bring stable, God-focussed, pastoral leadership to the church and a diverse set of giftings.
