Lead Academy was founded in 2010 by experienced church leaders who recognized that many church teams were unsupported and under-equipped in their calling to grow their churches.

Based on research amongst UK church leaders of all denominations, Lead Academy created a two-year process in which church leadership teams form a Learning Community with their peers from other similar churches.

These Learning Communities continue to enable churches to develop a fresh vision for their mission and ministry.

Lead Academy is embarking on a strategy to intensify its work with local church teams to reignite the missional imagination of the UK church.
