All Saints is the welcoming, inclusive, Anglican Parish Church of Kings Langley with a Eucharistic, choral tradition. Our aim is to worship God, care for each other and serve our community.
As part of the Diocese of St Albans we are guided by the principles of 'Living God's Love' and our Mission Action Plan priorities are: to Attract more worshippers of all ages; to build relationships with the wider community; and to make the church building inspirational for 21st Century Mission and Ministry. We are in the design and consultation phase of an exciting project to reorder the church in order to improve the welcome, and to allow greater flexibility for worship, hospitality, events and wider community use.
Our church has stood at the heart of the community for over 800 years and although it has a long history, All Saints is alive and offers traditional worship, supported by a robed choir, as well as more informal services attended by people of all ages, along with a whole range of social and outreach activities, including a Men's group, a Women's group, Tiny Tots, a free coffee morning, a foodbank, Bible study, regular enquirers' courses and small and large fundraising events, including an annual Christmas Tree Festival and an annual Beer Festival! We believe that God calls us to know him in prayer and worship but also in care and community, in fellowship and fun.
We have good links with local businesses, clubs and societies and the other village churches. There are developing links with the local schools and Scout groups, growing work with children and emerging work with young people as well as well established traditional parish ministry around the occasional offices and village life. We are seeing modest growth, including a stabilisation of our finances, and are looking to build further on our potential under God.
