We are an Anglican Church serving Barking in East London. Barking is a vibrant and diverse area located in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham in East London. It is known for its rich history, multicultural community, and excellent transport links.

St Margaret’s is in the centre of Barking, surrounded by the historic Abbey Green and Abbey Ruins. We have two Sunday services, a said Holy Communion at 8:30am and our main Sunday Service at 11am. At most 11am services we have our children’s group (Dove Club) and a small youth group which started last year after twelve young people were confirmed. We normally have between 80-100 adults and 20-30 children at this service.

St Margaret’s has an excellent Church Centre which was built on the south side of the church in 1991. This is where our Sunday children’s and youth activities take place. We are also closely linked to St Margaret's Church of England School which shares the site with the church.
