The main vision of the work is to offer leadership and guidance to churches in the Bradford Mission and Care Group, for their ministry with children, families and young people in several different churches. The post-holder will identify opportunities to engage with children, families and young people in some areas, and will help to develop existing work in other areas. A proportion of the role involves being part of the Yorkshire Synod WILDERNESS team to deliver a central program. The Children, Youth and Family Work Enabler is a pioneer role that is key to supporting and encouraging churches across the Bradford Mission and Care group of churches, including Bolton Villas Family Church, Pudsey URC, Westfield URC and Holme URC, to grow younger and more diverse.
