We want to grow and develop our work with children and young people and are looking for the right person to build on the great things that are already happening and take it on further.
We are looking for the right person to lead and develop our work with children and young people, making and growing disciples. You will lead and encourage great teams of volunteers, to reach these age groups and see them thrive. We are looking for new leadership and creativity in this area.
We have a Sunday School, a thriving Children’s Club, and lots of opportunities for regular input into local Primary Schools for RE Lessons, assemblies and pupil support.
We have a core group of Christian young people, but want to do more when it comes to reaching young people outside of the church, and making lifelong disciples. We have a good relationship with the local secondary school who are open to the right person developing a new partnership in school.
We want to support our young people to attend big events and experiences and have most recently taken them to ‘Newday’ which was great for both spiritual impact and the development of relationships.
There is a clear objective to reach those outside the church making both more and deeper disciples, but there is a freedom for creativity and your own ideas in the pursuit of this. Using your gifts and experiences, and crucially those of the volunteers to serve children and young people in Hollywood and Wythall.
We are a busy church with a lot going on and there may be some need and or opportunity to be involved in other ministries of the church depending on the need of the church and / or the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
