Pastoral Care Team Lead, Kidlington Baptist Church, Oxfordshire

We’re looking for someone with a gift for drawing people closer to Jesus and one another, helping all to know, and grow in, God; someone with a wise head and an attentive heart.

Our Pastoral Care Team Lead will:

• Coordinate, provide and develop pastoral care within our church community and outreach ministries, so that people of all ages are better able to flourish and grow as disciples of Jesus; 

• Help to deepen our relationships with God and one another; building up the love, unity, cohesion and resilience of the fellowship;

• Increase our ability to engage with and integrate seekers, newcomers and people on the fringes of our church community.

Salary: £14,250 to £15,325 (£26,735 to £28,735 pro rata) depending on experience and qualifications.

Safeguarding: Prior to commencing the post, a current enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS check) indicating that you are not unsuitable for work with children, young people and adults at risk is required.

Contract: Part-time up to 20 hours per week. Initial two-year fixed term.

Location: Kidlington, Oxfordshire.
